"Our Rae Seddon helped bring her into the world?" Harman says, smiling.

"She did, she held my hand and was there fer me." Bonnie says. "Guppy delivered her."

"Will you want her baptized?" Harman asks.

[is_the_motion]

"Yes, but at home." Bonnie says. "Turtle and the kids will want to be there."

[witchfinder_general]

"Of course," Harman says. "Not by an Elvis impersonator, I hope?"

Bonnie laughs.

"No, Alvin will likely do it."

[witchfinder_general]

"Well, that is much better."

[is_the_motion]

"Yes, Alvin is a good boy, and I don't think there's any rules against baptising family."

[witchfinder_general]

"No, there is nothing wrong with it all," Harman says.

[is_the_motion]

"Unless I make him godfather, then he'd have ter talk to himself."

[witchfinder_general]

"That would make things awkward," Father Harman agrees.

"We'll see anyhow." Bonnie says. "It don't have to be right away.

"Would you like to hold her?"

"Wouldn't that worry her?" Harman asks. "She is very small."

[is_the_motion]

"Only if you dunk her upside down in water." Bonnie says.

"I'm not likely to do that," Harman says.

He holds out his arms for her.

Bonnie carefully hands Billie over. The baby peers up at him with little bleary eyes.

"Hello, little Billie Rae," Harman says, looking into her eyes.

[is_the_motion]

Billie looks back, and gives another little yawn.

"Cain't believe she got so much hair." Bonnie says.

[witchfinder_general]

"Shouldn't she?" Harman says.

[is_the_motion]

"I don't know, I just expected her to be bald." Bonnie laughs.

[witchfinder_general]

"Even I know that not all babies are bald," Father Harman says, smiling.

[is_the_motion]

"But she was four weeks early, I thought the hair grew last."

[witchfinder_general]

"Sorry, no idea about that," Harman says. "I have somebody in my team for that sort of think, and I usually trust her."

[is_the_motion]

"I knew she'd be a redhead at least." Bonnie says. "Given both her ma and pa are."

[witchfinder_general]

"And she definitely is," Father Harman says. "Recessive genes coming through in a textbook example."
