The baby makes a little sleepy noise, then yawns again, and appears to accept this.

"You're definitely gettin' a proper cuddle later." Bonnie says, grinning at him.

"One milestone at a time, darling," he insists with a smirk, as he nestles the teddy bear near the baby's feet.

"Well, then. I should let you be. Congratulations on having such a lovely daughter, I am so unspeakably happy for you." He leans in and gives Bonnie a kiss on the cheek.

She reaches over and gives him a hug.

"Oh, well, I am wherever I am, and if that happens to be with you, then so much the better for us both," he says as he hugs her warmly in return.

Peering into the bassinet at Billie, he wriggles his fingers at her.

"Bye-bye, liebling. And I'll see you around, Bonnie, darling."

With another wave, he turns and leaves them in peace and quiet.
