Hank McCoy, finishing an inventory of the infirmary supplies, heads back out towards the main Bar, his eyes glancing across the big room. Some days he is amazed at what happens here, and some days it feels just like home.

Hank bows to the man, his eyes glinting.

"Indeed. why dont you have a seat, and I will help you get this shirt off, so we can get a better look. I think there will be no permamnent damage, or else even a strong man would have fallen."
Hank waves the man towards a seat nearby and grabs some surgical scissors.

He'd been pierced through the shoulder with a blade and the thing won't stay closed. He's getting rather tired of feeling he's going to fall from loss of blood.

"I can see that. what time period do you come from?"
(ooc: now is the time when I have to ask what level of healing you want yer pup subjected to. The infirmary is prepped with hightech from the future. Hank can pretty much heal it down to a scar, if Athos and you want it so.)

[OOC: Healed to a scar would be wonderful, thanks! And apologies for browser issues giving you the wrong pup, grrr. *smites it*]

"No harm done, Sir. Wounds tend to make us forget the more genteel things in life. I am a Doctor. I am used to hearing more swear words than gentle converse."
Hank gently probes the shoulder then nods.
"If you have no objections, i can put this right for you. I wanr you, the technology here," and he waves at a number of odd looking machines, "is far advanced from your day and may seem somewhat like magical tales, but I will do you no harm, you have my word on it."
(ooc: no worries)

Besides, if the good doctor tries anything not designed to heal, he'll find himself dealing with a swordsman just as adept with his left hand as his right. But he doesn't believe that will be an issue here. Raph had recommended the man and he had seemed trustworthy.

"One moment then."
He goes to a nearby locked rack with odd devices on it and pulls out a small one. walking back to Athos he pushes a few buttons on it. It looks much like wel, a silver rock. When Hank pushes the buttons, one end begins to glow.
"Okay. This will hurt, probably quite sharply at first, but as it works, the pain will lessen, then vanish, save for some ache deep in the muscles, as from a slight strain. Are you ready?"
Hank's voice is professional and his eyes frank, and truthful.

He removes the device and the wound is completely gone.
"There. that should do it. Now, if you will, cautiously, as after a long workout, stretch the arm and muscle. It should be fine, but ache somewhat."

He smiles a little and stretches his arm out, testing the muscles of the shoulder. And it continues to ache but it's easily borne and a thousand times better than it just had been.
'My thanks Doctor, it is a marvellous device. I feel quite whole again.'

"Take ti easy on that arm for a day or so, as you would a light strain, but it should be just fine within the end of two days at most. There will be just the smallest scar."
He rumages in a cabinet and gets out a shirt which looks fairly close to the one Athos was wearing. He hands it over.
"This is a shirt collected from the secodn hands. You can use it until you get home for new clothes, then either toss it or donate it to another soul who needs it."
He smiles.
"I hope that in the future, your enemies have far less luck with their attacks and you have far more luck with yours."
He bows to the other man.

And with that he leaves, heading for Bar to get a key for another stay.
