It was one of the longest operations Malcolm has had to conduct since his arrival in Milliways. But Bill Pardy is resting and healing in a clean bed in the infirmary now.

Malcolm is dead on his feet (he has to smirk a little as he thinks that), but he decides to stay until Bill comes out of the anesthesia.

"Thanks." He gives a grateful nod.

"Ain't had nothin happen since then though, right?"

"Nay, na that I know o', but Kate's doin' more research an all."

[wheelsy_sheriff]

"Good. Ya'll be careful though. I...I sorta pissed off that Doctor even more." Bill swallows, thinking of how the Doctor had raved and slung the knife at him.

[will_scarlett]

"We will, promise, we'll be as safe as we can."

[wheelsy_sheriff]

"Alright." Of course there's the question of how safe someone can be when it's their dreams attacking them. Thinking about that does no good though so Bill tries not too.

"An if there's anything I can do..." He shrugs. "Probably know less then ya'll at this point if you've been gathering info but I'd be happy to share what I got."

"Probably better to talk to Kate 'bout that, she's been collectin' all the stuff. I'm na as good at that part, do better with knowin' what I can attack."

[wheelsy_sheriff]

"If I see her I will." He agrees.

[will_scarlett]

"Could ask 'er to stop in 'ere if ye'd like."

[wheelsy_sheriff]

"That would work. Not sure how long I'll be here so if she wants to talk that might be easiest."

[will_scarlett]

"I'll let 'er know since she's better at that sort o'thing than me."

[wheelsy_sheriff]

"I'll be here. Kinda made a promise or two to stay put for awhile." Not that he feels up for wandering anyways.

"Good, should let ye rest, I'll come back with books an such later."
