The infirmary is quiet when Claire leaves Rae in Matt's care to gather supplies.

She rounds the corner, in search of the pharmacy. If she's lucky, maybe she'll find a staff member on duty, too.

There's a Guppy in the office, who may well be able to help, since he knows where stuff is.

He looks up and smiles at the newcomer.

"Hi, can I help?"

"I think you can," Claire says, returning the smile. "My name's Claire. I'm an ER nurse. I'm here with a patient — she's a burn victim. I was hoping to get her started on some fluids, make her comfortable."

"I'm Guppy, one of the clinical leads, nice to meet you." Guppy says.

He gets up to show her where to find the kit.

"Have you found the painkillers?"

"Likewise," she echoes, following him.

"No," she adds, with a slight shake of her head. "It's my first time here in the infirmary."

"Okay, we have hyposprays which provide good pain relief on hand. If you want drugs that are usually on prescription, opiates and stuff, the infirmary waitrats can bring them from Bar. But we also have access to things from other worlds. Kolto patches are good on burns."

Claire nods as Guppy points out potential options for Rae, and she glances around the shelves.

"Gotcha," she murmurs, spotting some creams and ointments she's familiar with, and a few she doesn't recognize. "She came in with her own script, but it's good to know that's an option with Bar."

She glances up, her expression becoming somewhat sheepish.

"Um, as for administering treatment — do I need to show you ID for privileges? Because my Metro-General badge is definitely at home. So's my wallet."

"Bar should be able to tell that you're legit." Guppy says. "She's smart like that. But if you get the chance, I'd like to see that, thanks."

After the whole cannibal thing.

"We have to do a lot of this on trust because it's a voluntary service."
