Guppy is in the infirmary, trying to set up some voice activated device he got from the bar.
"Okay Noodle, take pulse."
"Pulse is four hundred and eighteen beats per minute."
"... Nope, that doesn't sound right."

"Fight," he says, gritting his teeth against every pull of his clothes on his oozing wounds, five long cuts from his shoulder blade to his hip.
"Logan and a stranger. With claws."

"You got any medical conditions I should know about apart from being dead?"

"It's just superficial." he says. "I can fix this with the skin fuser. You're going to need to keep really still though, it'll take a bit of time with all this lot."
He puts some clean gauze over the worst of the wounds. "Put some pressure on this while I work on the others."

And it is at that point that she chooses to become visible, thermoptic camouflage flickering away from her skin and hair and clothes.
"Now what have you done to yourself this time, my friend?"

"... Baze?" The question is sharp, fretful and restive like he hasn't quite decided if an answer or silence would be preferred. Chirrut steps into the room, grumbling under his breath in irritation as he gets his staff awkwardly braced against the entryway.
no subject
"I'm here, Chir," Baze says, stretching a hand out to him. The larger Jedhan has a tight smile on his face. He hopes the smaller one can hear the smile in his voice, and not the tenseness.
no subject
He can smell blood.
It is good that Baze can smile, but the rest fully justifies the growled curse when he manages to stumble over a stray (not so stray, just in his way) stool on his way to Baze. His hands refuse to settle, automatically searching for damage over Baze's body once he's in range.
His staff hits the floor with a clatter, forgotten.
"Baze, what happened, how bad..."

It's long enough for Guppy to get Baze fixed up, but not all that long after, when Thor appears.
He's vanished the cape and the scale mail somewhere (into a dimensional storage pocket attached to Mjölnir, is where), and he's long since stopped crackling with visible electricity, but he's still looking kind of irritated. Not with Baze, though!
"Baze Malbus, my friend. You're well?"
no subject
"Yes, I'm fine, thanks for asking. Did you get Logan and the other one squared away in the cells?"
no subject
"Yes." There's who he's irritated at, yep. "For now. I will consult with X to determine the most suitable sentence for their offense."

Later enough that Ivanhoe felt secure (though reluctant) in letting a young girl under his protection leave the relative safety of the kitchen... young Rae peeks around the infirmary door frame. She wants to make sure Baze is all right, but wouldn't want to distract if it's dire and the doctors need to work, or interrupt if Baze is resting.
no subject
"Hoi, Rae. May the Force of others be with you!"
He hopes she doesn't mind that he's just going to stay prone, with his cheek on the pillow.
no subject
"...With you, too." Her smile is real but small and still tinged with worry. "Are you hurt bad?"

The scent kind of diverges, one way toward the cells, the other way toward the infirmary. That can't be good.
Cassidy picks the infirmary.
Poking his head 'round the door, he notes the only occupied bed in the room with a very large occupant.
"Holy shite, mate, what the hell happened to you?"
no subject
He smiles, and though it's pained and tight, gratitude shines in his eyes.
"Cassidy! Hoi! May the Force of others be with you!" Baze says, extricating a hand from underneath himself to wave at his friend--which also tweaks his back. Ow. He settles back on the pillow reluctantly.
"I'm okay. Some fighty idiot opened me up with his claws because I was stupid enough to get in the way of him disemboweling some other fighty idiot. Guppy used the skin fuser, so I'll just be sore for a week or so. I'm good!"
See? He's totally fine. Yup.
no subject
"What were you doin' tryin'a-- oh, right, you're on the Security team. Well, Jaysus, that's a helluva fight to be breaking up, but I'm glad you're still in one piece."

She is careful to make noise as she approaches.
"Baze."
Beat.
"You are healing?"
no subject
"X. Hoi. May the Force of others be with you," Baze says muzzily, blinking the sleep out of his eyes.
"I'm healing up just fine. Guppy fixed the skin, so I'll just be sore for a week while the torn muscle heals underneath."
