"Please sit down Elrond, there's no need for abusive language in this room." Guppy says calmly.

Smith glares at him.
"Don't pretend you know me," he hisses.
He knows he has lost his cool but he can't seem to get a grip on himself.

WIL looks from Elrod to Guppy, " So this IS Elrond, not Agent Smith?"

"Looks like him. But it's hard to tell." Guppy says. "Some people do just look the same around here."

He steps slightly closer. "I'm Guppy, I'm a doctor. Can I check you over?" he asks Elrond or Smith or whoever he is.

Smith sniffs, disdainfully.

"You think I'm an organism," he says. "Just how blind are you."

"Yeah, well, you look like hell," says Wil slumping into a chair, "I don't think it matters if you are a machine or not."

He'd had a long day, the kind where collapsing is the best course of action. This is just icing on the cake.

"Well if you're not an 'organism' my machines will say so in just a moment. So have a seat, please." Guppy says.

Smith relocates to the indicated chair and sits down.

His eyes seem to keep wanting to drift closed.

Wil is half asleep himself. Sitting is bad when you're sleep deprived. He's already reached that stage of dozing where he is aware of what is going on, but it is ecoing and sounds distant.

"Right, you're an organism, and you have flu, so best get back on the bed and rest." Guppy says, gently. "Maybe you too." he adds, to Wil.

It attests to the strength of the illness, that he does as he is not. Without complaint.

And then he is out.

Wil starts and looks at Guppy, "I think I fell asleep, there. 'you got this?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"I don't think there's a need to stay with him continuously, half the bar is infected." Guppy says. "He's stable. The waitrats can tend to him and keep an eye and call us if he needs it. Do you want to have a sleep here too?"

"I think I just need to take a nap," says Wil Standing up, "We've been dealing with an outbreak of illness in my world for a week."

That is healers get little to no sleep, especially those in training.

"Best not go back for a bit." Guppy says. "You could be a carrier for this one."

Wil nods, "What is this one? Is that man there really Agent Smith? He looks just like Elrond, down to the ears."

He yawns despite himself.

"This flu." Guppy corrects.

"I've never seen a flu do this," says Wil, "If I catch it, will I wake up thinking I am some kind of machine, and that I can fly?"

"You may wake up thinking you're someone else." Guppy says.

"I feel like I need to bathe," says Wil.

"There's a shower just through there." Guppy says, indicating a door at the side of the ward.
