Recovery time for Dodger

[This is actually Sam's patient.]

Sam has set Dodger up with a fresh pitcher of water, a box of saltine crackers, a few bedpans, and a bed near the bathroom.

"I'm going to give you some space now, but I'll just be right over there reading if you need anything, okay?" he says, pointing to the computer terminal where plans to read up and make sure he's done all he can for her bout of food poisoning. "Rest up and get better."

Eventually, Dodger starts to feel well enough to sit up. And sitting up is just about all she can manage just yet. She's nowhere near in good enough condition to go back out there and start outrunning werewolves and vampires yet.

The thought of food makes her want to get sick all over again, but her stomach is empty enough that she needs something, and she manages to force down a few of the crackers without losing them again. Eventually, boredom gets the best of her, and she breaks down and asks a rat to bring her a colouring book and some crayons. It'll help pass the time until she feels well enough to go back through the door to her world.
