post-fight wrap up

It's usually a quiet job, working in the infirmary-- which is fine by Joly, given what it can mean when a doctor's busy.

But a little post-brawl patchup, well, that's no great sign of catastrophe. He smiles cheerfully enough at the two men who limp into the infirmary. "Harry! I'm glad you've come in. And-- excuse me, I don't think we've met. I'm Joly. If you would both have a seat--?" He gestures to two separate examining tables.

He's startled by the hug, but he'll accept it readily.

"We took great care to remain out of sight," Harry says dryly. "And 'twas indeed all done by mutual consent. The letter of the law, if not, perhaps, the very spirit."

Joly grins. "I'll spare you the lecture on kings and legalities."Harry's probably going to hear it soon anyway, but not right now. "Here, swallow these pills and drink this.-- Are you sure you're feeling steady?"

"Oh, I have had far worse," Harry says cheerfully. He takes the pills with a slightly dubious expression. Just... swallow them?

(...it takes him a couple tries.)

Joly laughs and gets Harry another glass of water. "We can always say that at least! -- Still, don't dismiss any strange symptoms you may feel. Do you want me to call anyone to meet you here? Feuilly, or someone?" ...Really just Feuilly, as far as Joly can tell, but hey, he doesn't know all of Harry's friends!

"No, no," Harry says. "You have shown more than common care. I shall call at once upon you should I feel anything but myself. And I shall to Feuilly-- but you need not fetch him hither, I can make my way so far, I do not doubt."

He reaches out to clasp Joly's arm. "I thank you."

Joly presses his hand, smiling. "It keeps me from being idle, right? --Go on, get some rest."
