Guppy is in the infirmary office, on one of the computers, which is currently attempting to install 1170 new updates. He's not entirely sure how.

She's still wearing her uniform - hadn't bothered changing out - which is kinda messed up right now. Not that she looks like a prize, either. Chris got a couple good shots in there, and her face is already starting to bruise. "Dr. Sandhu?"
no subject
"Hey Rikki, you okay?"
He gets up and comes over. "That looks sore."

"Happens." he says gently. "What happened? How long were you out for, do you know?"

He gets a pen torch to shine in her eyes, and sets up some monitoring to check her pulse and blood pressure.

Ugh, the pen light. Even when it doesn't make her head hurt worse to have someone shining it in her eyes, it's super-annoying.
"And I feel... I dunno. My head hurts, and I feel kinda gross, but I think I remember everything I'm supposed to. Do you do the 'what's the date?' thing here? Cause how would you know the answer was correct?"

She does feel kinda nauseous, but to be fair, she's not too sure how much of that is from her head and how much of it is just her stomach still tying itself in knots after she panicked in the middle of a fight.
"My arms and legs are laughter-free."
no subject
"I'm a little concerned about the head injury, mind if I scan your head?" he holds up the portable scanner. "It doesn't hurt and it's radiation free."
no subject
He knows what he's doing. Or at least, she really hopes he does.

Guppy carefully runs the scanner over her head, and then checks the screen.
"Nothing major, but you're a bit concussed." he says. "I'd recommend we keep you in for observation overnight."

Did that make sense? She might be getting a bit vague-y. "I think I can knock out a few of those hours sleeping now."
no subject
"Where else are you hurt?" he asks gently.
no subject
Oh. Whoops. "It's cool, just bruises. Also, I think I just appointed you court physician."
no subject
"Of which court?"
no subject
Beat.
"Am I not making sense anymore?"
no subject
"You are making sense, I'm just being thick. Do you want me to contact anyone for you?"
no subject
She shrugs. "I guess Professor X? Um, Charles Xavier."

Should she be bothering him with this? He probably won't mind. She guesses.

She waves a hand, only slightly grumpy. "Been there, done that, got the t-shirt." After a moment, she switches over to more sincere mode: "Thanks."
