(no subject)

There is space in the infirmary tonight for people who did not decide to follow standard safety instructions when they went to the roller disco.

[ooc: Visiting post for Autor and anyone else wounded. If anyone needs Guppy please see the first aid in the original post.]

After his spill at the roller disco, Guppy fuses his bone and now William's lying in a bed at the infirmary discovering all his new bruises.

Autor rubs his eyes under his glasses, resting in one of the infirmary's beds. The ankle sprain is probably the worst injury he could ever have--first with the not!walking for a couple of days, and then with the whole state of wobbly and sore for six weeks. He won't be able to run, or even walk properly for about that long.

He turns to William. "Well, that was fun," he says, completely unironically. "How's your wrist? I'm sorry you broke it."

"Its tender, hell, I just hurt but it was fun,"

It was the first time he's ever really seen Autor really seeming to have a good time, that was nice.

"Good," Autor says, grinning, though it's tempered now, by his waiting for the painkillers to kick in. "Next year, we'll join--ow! I moved it--the roller derby team, right?"

"And we'll wear some of those pads and all that were there too. Its goin' to be awful readin' like this."

"Oh, no, it truly is!" Autor says, a little worried. He hadn't thought about that, though he should have. "Are you going to stay around here until you've recovered? I might have to."

"Of course, don't know how I'd explain it at home or manage my chores," Maybe he can find something to prop a book on.

"That makes sense," Autor admits, nodding. "I'm sure Bar has something that can help you read. I hope you're not sore for the whole week."

"I probably will be but that's alright. Its like that when I've been thrown from a horse."

Autor shivers. "Horses are terrifying and that's why," he says firmly, as if this is an incontrovertible fact. "Still, I've got no regrets."

He offers his hand to shake--not the one that William has broken. "Thanks for skating with me."

"No, they're not. Me neither," Its a little sore to reach over but he manages it and shakes Autor's hand.
