Guppy and Hannibal spent a fair amount of time working on Sunshine yesterday, and she is currently resting in one of the beds.

She could probably do with some gentle company.

"...a baker?" He tilts his head. "Actually, maybe we did meet once. Does she make cinnamon rolls?"

"The best in the whole history of the multiverse," Dr. Lecter declares.

"Yeah, that sounds about right. I bought one at one of the lake parties."

[cook_the_rude]

"An investment well worth it," Dr. Lecter declares.

[jonathanparagon]

"Is it still an investment when you eat the asset?" He grins. "Worth it, though, agreed. I hadn't realized that was her."

[cook_the_rude]

"That is her," Dr. Lecter says. "And the asset isn't the cinnamon roll itself, it's the experience gained by the pleasure of eating it, committed to memory."

[jonathanparagon]

"Good point - and that's something you've got forever." He glances again at the woman in the bed. "Well, I just wanted to make sure she was OK. Maybe I'll check in again when she's awake."

"Do that, Jonathan," Dr. Lecter says. "I'm sure she will be glad to properly meet you."
