Hank comes into the Infirmary, looking around, and noticing it is once again quiet. He goes over to look at the comatose Alessa, still bothered by what has occurred with her, but unable, for now, to set her right. After examining her chart, he wanders around, checking instruments, taking a quick inventory, and noting down ideas for things the place needs. He makes a note to talk to Doctor Simon Tamm. Finally, he runs out of things to do and stands for a very long few minutes in the middle of the Infirmary.
Somehow this place has become home, with Rachel and Catherine here, as well as his other friends... it has become a true home. This Infirmary has become his place of work, where he saves lives and helps people... He still works at the Institute and always will be an X-Man, but this is who he is now. A small smile comes onto his face as he walks out of the Infirmary and towards the bar. Time to go on. Time to get to work.
