After millitimed liek wo surgery, Carlotta is recovering in one of the beds.
For a long while she sleeps, then opens her eyes, wincing with pain. The blurred surroundings are unfamiliar, and the first thing she tries to do is pull off her oxygen mask and the oxygen moniter on her finger.

"Shh, you're in Milliways and need to rest."

"I thought I was dead and gone to the afterlife with Mum."

She looks, at first, like she is trying to smother nervousness, and then she looks both relieved and exasperated at the same time. Quickly she moves over to Carlotta's bed and shuts off the alarm, noticing as she does that Carlotta's removed her oxygen mask and is well on her way to pulling out her IV line. "Well," she says, "I see you're recovered enough to have woken up and remove most of your support and monitoring equipment." She sounds more amused than annoyed.

"You were very badly hurt and we brought you here because the doctors in your time didn't know how to heal you."

She's eying pulling out the IV line again, in case she needs to escape.

She's going to wait until Carlotta calms down before suggesting that she put the pulse monitor back on, or that she should have oxygen through a nasal tube if not the mask.

"I understand that you work here, but would you mind terribly giving Carlotta a bit of space as you explain things."
She's starting gently rubbing Carlotta's back to try and get her relaxed again.

"Sorry, wasn't sure if I was dead." she says, lying back with her hand to her head.
"I don't remember anything since lunchtime."

"I'm afraid that a horse kicked you, Carlotta. Will says that it happened after you very bravely saved Fern. Now will you let this woman keep you safe. All these machines are to keep watch on you when we cannot."

"I'm sorry. I've never seen a blue lady before. I feel groggy and sick and dizzy and my head hurts."

"We had a sign, from the bar itself, that made us act," he says. "Rescuing you was a matter of course; and we were lucky we did not have to sneak you back out through the entire hospital!"
