Will is in one of the infirmary cubicles, recouperating.
Guppy is in the office, keeping a close eye out for anyone trying to kill him.

Not scowling angry. Scowling, storming in, coat billowing behind him and eyes unpleasantly luminous and gold angry.
"What the kriff happened?"

He can't even pretend not to wince with his rib and side hurting so much, he turns with his swollen jaw and tries for a smile,
"Fought with Doc."

"'e went with Brand, 'e's got somethin' in 'im like Kate. Argued, 'e said 'e was goin' to kill me, knew where to 'it so it'd 'urt. 'e's in the cells."

"When does he get out of the cells?"
no subject
He tries to meet Atton's eyes, they don't need more violence from this.
no subject
His tone makes it absolutely clear that he's not kidding or bluffing about this.

But he's been watching Will, to make sure nothing happens to him. For, well, hours.

"Ye should sleep."
no subject
"And I did, a little. I've stuck a sensor over the infirmary door that I can use to make a small bell ring when anyone comes in."
no subject
He tries to curl up but his side protest.
no subject
"I'm going to give you more pain relief, okay?" he says gently, finding a vein in Will's arm.

However, when there is the smell of blood in the bar, and its someone you know- checking out the infirmary is a good thing.
"... This happen here or back in the pre-Industrial era England?" As she (carefully) sits on the corner of Will's bed.

"'ere, fought with a friend who's got a demon in 'im."
no subject
"Did you know about the demon before the fight, or was that one of those fun details you found out afterwards? Either which way, that isn't fun, but its also not the best idea to go after something like that without some heavy-duty backup." A quiet sigh, and she shakes her head.
"You at least going to be ok?"
no subject
no subject
"At least they have decent medical stuff here- or so I've heard." She glances around the Infirmary. Well- certainly better than whatever would be available in Will's time. But, Laini's no doctor or healer.
"So-" Looking back to Will. "You going to get back into top-notch shape before running off for any more guerilla warfare, or other such potentially leathal bar-brawls?"
no subject
He shifts to sit up a bit and tries to hide his wince as his side shifts with his newly hurting wound.
