Whist awake, he had remembered very little. When asleep, there are fragments, gradually placing themselves into order in his mind.
Hands grasping around his neck, holding him still so the others can get a good few kicks in.
He struggles, moving away from the image, which flickers like an old film.
"What are you looking at? Right." Lee comes back and smirks, pulling back his foot.
As Guppy's heart rate reaches 160bpm his struggles cause him to fall out of bed. Thinking the impact with the floor is a kick, he curls up into a little ball against the bed, protecting his body with his arms.

"Guppy! Wake up, Doctor Sandhu. You are having a nightmare."
He gets the manm in bed and covered again.

Guppy struggles initially, although he is too weak to do Hank any damage.
"Please stop! Please!"
When he is in the bed his eyes open and he looks up at Hank.
"Get safe. It is me they want."
no subject
"Wake up, Guppy. You were having a nightmare. You are safe at Milliways, in the Infirmary. Wake up and come back to us here."
His voice is quiet and calm but easily cuts through all other noise around.

Hank does his best to make his voice quite natural and sympathetic, and reassuring. His eyes go from the monitors to Guppy's arms and legs, checking for new injuries and bruising.
"It'll be okay, my friend. Deep dreams after a trauma often intrude into the first waking moments."
no subject
"Hurts. Hard to breathe."
no subject
"I can help with that, if you want me too. A small dose should cause no harm."
He holds up a hypospray, ready to deliver the fast acting stuff.

He cocks his head at Guppy.
"And if you want, I can put minor wrist and leg straps, ones that you could undo with your hands, on you when you sleep, so you can fall out of bed like that."
no subject
"Yes please. On both counts."

Then he walks around Guppy, securing his hands and ankles with simple wrap bonds, which are strong enough to hold against the worst convulsions, but can be released by Guppy's own hand fairly quickly.
"There, that ouight to see you through."
He settles back for a few moments, watching Guppy and the monitors, and waiting for a sign of improvement.

"Hank? Am I going to be able to get home tomorrow?"
no subject
Hank has a gentle smile on his face and a nods to Guppy.

"I can't imagine Harry will allow me to work anyway."
no subject
"If he doesnt, you can either stay there at home, or come here and check yourself back in. I will clean the bed after you leave but keep it ready just in case you want to use it again. "
He smiles a little.
"You will be in pain especially in your muscles for quite a few days but with the drugs I gave you, the swelling will already be goin down a little. Just trake it easy my friend, as much as you can, and you will get through this."
no subject
"Thanks Hank, for everything. I am in your debt for your help, and will not forget your kindness. I will see how tomorrow goes before I decide whether or not I need to check in for observation."
He glances down at some of the bruises on his arms.
"I'm hoping to catch Barry before I go tomorrow. He said he'd help me with a statement."
[ooc: Mun is going to bed now because the wrists have definitely had enough. Slowtime ok?]

He nods.
"Good idea. Getting whatever images down that you can is always good."
(ooc: slowtime is fine)
no subject
"I'm not sure if the nightmare is an exact recollection, but if it was..."
He looks up at Hank. "Would you say that the leader of the gang shouting 'What are you looking at' would imply there was a witness?"

Hank nods.
"That could mean a lot."

"I know you will do your best, noone will ask anythin else of you. I hope that things go well for you my friend."
He smiles.
no subject
"Thanks. I think I'll try and get some rest now. Tomorrow's going to be tough."
no subject
"I will see you around then. Be well my friend."
And he retreats to the Infirmary office.

Walking into the infirmary Amanda approaches Guppy's bed. A wave of terror sweeps over her as she see's Guppy strapped to the bed. She stands rigid for sometime before taking a few tentative steps towards him, "Guppy" her voice is small.
