It is evening and Hank has been back from Earth and his duties at the X-Mansion for several hours. He sits at the desk in the Infirmary and taps at his laptop, making a list of items he needs to refill and restock. The Infirmary apparently came into existence at exactly the right time and has been some heavy use recently.

Hank has been working as a field medic and Mansion doctor for years, off and on. He got a lot of knowledge and experience that way and was exposed to medical techniques and technology far beyond his wildest dreams. During his time with the X-Men he has dealt with everything from bites from alien monsters to time-space warping of matter and flesh.

All of that still never dulled in him the agony and uncertainty of watching a friend lay in a bed, sick or hurt. He prays it never does get dull or numb in him. He is jarred from his thoughts by a noise, and for a moment, he is alert for incoming, but it is only a diagnostic on one of the scanners. He shakes his head and glances down at his notes.

After all that has happened in the Infirmary here at Milliways lately, one would think it was almost as crazy as back on Earth, but strangely enough, this place is still quieter than back in the X-Mansion. The Infirmary is mostly quiet tonight, and so Hank sits and watches the room, his eyes thoughtful.
