Night had fallen and Amanda walks into the infirmary. She is wearing a smile as she approaches Guppy's bed. She has long since changed out of the blood stained shirt.
Finding a glass she fills it with water and tris to help him drink.
"Thank Lady Bar. She was good enough to bring you here sowe could help." Amanda is smiling all anger and hate temporarily suspended with the task of trying to cheer Guppy up.
She looks down at the calla lilies (http://www.world-florists.com/prod_images_large/us072g.jpg) she brought to the infirmary, reaching over to put the jar lightly by his bedside before getting up. Her eyes are strained and infinitely worried as she heads towards the door.

When he sees the injuries, he is for once at a loss as to what to say or do.

"He seems to be stable."
He looks at Aeryn. "Are you okay?"

I'm...
"I can deal with it. Every time it gets easier."
There was no sign on her face that she even cared, she had withdrawn from battle.
"Is there anything I can do?"
no subject
"I don't think so. It looks like Hank's been very thorough. All we can do is be here for him and make sure he doesn't do anything daft like work."
Guppy stirs a little and opens his eyes.
"I don't think I'm going anywhere just yet."

Her thoughts were scrambled, she wanted to run, to jump, to cry from relief.
"You don't have to do something so extreme just to get me to notice you, you know."
no subject
"You guys are going to have me down as an attention seeker before long."
no subject
"Don't move, you'll injure yourself further." She forced a smile.
"I guess this weekend is no good for some fighting practice."

"Thanks. Need to replace that fluid volume. If I'd lost much more I think Hank would have had me on a drip."
