The Infirmary is dark save for lights that flash slowly on several of the machines along the walls. Small beeps are the only sounds that can be heard in the large area.
Thankfully, the peace hasnt been broken there for several days.

Naraht hurries ahead of them to activate the scanners by one of the beds. "Over here," he calls. "We're green and go."

Meanwhile he begins to cut off Guppy's shirt with a nearby bladeless knife, his eyes widening at the sight of the wounds revealed.
(ooc: what are the wounds, exactly? Did guppy-mun say?)

Naraht swears again. "The bastards really worked him over," he all but snarls.

"Glad to see you again, Amanda. I wish the circumstances were better. Do you have any medical knowledge you could throw into the mix? Hank's good at this, but none of us are MDs, and until we find one, this might be a case of 'the more, the merrier.'"

"They? The Stalkers did this?"
he sighs.
Then he grins a little as he throws a glance at Barry.
"We havent had a chasnce to actually talk since my return from a sojourn on my Earth just before the Otherplot. I finished my medical degree qualifications while there. "
He glances at the nearest computer as it beeps and growls as he sees the computer's report on the extent of the damage.
"It isnt as bad as I feared but it is bad enough. There are medicines on the shelves near the back of the infirmary. We are going to need Pretamine, Isolaine, Betathol and Morican, two packages each. Whoever has a free hand, please."

Naraht sighs.
"Was I right about the concussion? If not, I'll gladly eat that table."
no subject
"Congratulations, Dr. McCoy." He then does he what can, glad that things are under control.

"What are my obs Hank?"

Then he gently places a hand on the other man's shoulder.
"Can you tell me what happenned? Do you remember?"

He pauses to wipe the blood off his mouth.
"I went into the car park after my father. Didn't think of taking an escourt. When he drove off I turned round and Lee was there. I tried to walk away but the gang surrounded me. I tried to stall them and talk loudly to attract attention but nobody was looking. Lee headbutted me. I don't remember any more until I woke up, but when I went out there it was light, and when I woke up it was dark."
He winces and puts his hand to his chest.
"I wanted to call my mum so I crawled and staggered to the phone box. Then I woke up here."

So he just stays quiet.

"Sounds like Bar was looking out for you. The Door into the booth brought you here. We are going to stabilize you, and then you can decide what you want done here and what you want done back home. Are you allergic to any medicines? And can you breathe okay?"
(ooc: what exactly are his injuries, and how much do you want done here in Milliways?)
no subject
"I don't think I am."
His breathing sounds a little laboured and he still has his hand on his chest. "It hurts to breathe, but I think it's just bruised. I don't think it's a tension pneumothorax."
no subject
"The computers seem to think you just have a lot of bruises, a minor concussion and some ribs that almost but didnt quite break. "
He smiles wryly.
"We can fix up the ribs and the concussion right away and gets you something to lower the swelling on those bruises and eliminate nausea, so you can actually walk. then you will need rest, and a lot of it."
He cocks his head and glances at the others then back at Guppy.
"Beyond that, you will need to decide waht else you want us to do here, and what you want done back on your homeEarth. Do you know if there were anyu witnesses? I know it will be ahrd tyo remember, but try to think back."
no subject
Guppy thinks hard, trying to think if he saw anyone, or heard anything.
"I don't remember anything after the headbutt. But if someone had been there, they would have gone and got security wouldn't they?"
He winces again. "Thanks. Could you possibly please give me something for the pain?"
no subject
"First, this is Pretamine. It is a drug from my world that is an analogue to aspirin and very strong,. it will relieve the pain and allow you to rest for a short time, plus it will read as aspirin in any dfrug tests done on your blood."
He presses it home and then picks up the second.
"This is Isolaine. It will help the concussion heal fatser and also make the bones in your ribs heal slightly quicker. It isnt detectable in normal or advanced blood tests, so you will be fine with that too."
He presses that hypo home as well.
"I can give you something to help with your lungs next, but we need to wait a few minutes while the others take effect. Hang in there, my friend, and we will get you walking in no time."

He also take note of the fairly exotic medicines Hank has been using. He suspects knowing wbout them might come in handly later as well.
no subject
"Thanks. I'm sorry for being so much trouble... was an idiot not to wait for Abs but I wanted to catch my father."
He looks around at the others.
"Can someone please tell Abs where I am? He'll be worried because I didn't come home."
no subject
"One of us can write him a note, so he will get it when he gets in here. Now you try to rest some. Idiot or genius, you are our idiot or genius and I for one want to see that you get healthy."
Hank levels a finger at Guppy.
"And that means not getting up for awhile! I know exactly how much of a workaholic you are, but you need rest to let your body heal some."
While he talks, he begins setting up a couple more hyposprays.

"Couldn't move if I wanted to. Too dizzy. Thanks."
He holds onto Amanda's hand, leans back and shuts his eyes.
[ooc: And this is the second point at which I have to leave you for a bit]
no subject
"Then just relax and leave everything to us," Naraht says.
no subject
"Well, I need to apply a few more medicines, and then monitor him for awhile. That is about all that can be done until he has some rest. You did a good job here today."
And his smile is full of approval.
