Mace sits down. Carefully, no not brush any burned spots to anything. "He passed out a minute or two later."

Guppy sets the moniter to run a full scan. After a couple of minutes he nods.

"His neck appears to be clear. Is his helmet here for a purpose or can I remove it?"

He takes off the neck brace.

"Concealment and protection only. Mandalorians are basic-human." Oh, Mace has also some objects wrapped in singed rags. "These are his weapons. I thought it would be better to disarm him."

"Thank you. I didn't feel like being decapitated today. Perhaps you could put them somewhere safe, giving them to the bar maybe. And that's very helpful, thank you. Any religious reasons?"

[ooc: I.e. is Guppy allowed to take it off.]

[OOC: Yeah...but Boba will wake up at some point...]

Boba remains out cold, but he does move some as his helmet is removed. He's not awake, but he's at least not out as badly as he was.

[OOC: And mun must run to pre-standing dinner arrangement...]

"None. Its just a helmet." Mace raises a brow.

"Okay, thanks."

Guppy removes the helmet so that he can get a good look at the man's head. He puts the helmet under the bed out of the way.

"Boba I'm Dr Sandhu. You're in Milliways Infirmary. Can you hear me?"

He shines a pen torch in the man's eyes.

Mace just waits for his turn.

Guppy frowns at the lack of response. He can't see any reason why Boba should still be unconscious. He starts to run a blood test, putting an oxygen mask on the man. Then as the results are being processed he turns back to Mace.

"Okay, what did you say your name was?"

"Mace Windu."

"Okay Mace, I can see the burns but are you in pain anywhere else?"

"No, only the parts there my skin is blistered or burned and falling off."

"Okay." Guppy glances back at Boba for a moment to check his moniter.

"We have a number of options here. Either we can treat the burns with the skin fuser, which will heal them almost completely but will take a little time for me to do. Or if you're not keen on the technology I can just clean them up a bit and put something cooling on them, but that will take a lot longer to heal. In either case you may have to excuse me if your sparring partner comes to."

"After Bacta tanks, I am not afraid of thechnological solutions." He nods to guppy

"I don't think we have one of them yet, and even if we had, I wouldn't know how to operate it."

He picks up the targ.

"This is our skin healer. You'll need to go gently on it for a few days, it might be a bit sore. And I need you to keep still."

[ooc: I need to go to bed now, slowtime until tomorrow evening ok?]

Mace just nods, letting the doctor work.

(Sounds good.)

Boba slowly comes out of his unconscious state. When he first wakes, he is motionless, still quite out of it. But, after a few moments, he comes to and blinks.

"Am I dead?"

"No, you're not." Guppy says, coming to the end of one of the burns before he moves and looks around.

"Excuse me please a moment Mace." he says, putting the targ down and going over to Boba. He takes the man's oxygen mask off so he can talk.

"My name is Dr Sandhu, and I've been looking after you for the last few minutes. Do you know where you are?"

He checks vital signs whilst glancing at the scan results.

"Milliways?"

That's said with almost a groan.

"Last thing I recall is Mace saying 'or you can die here...'"

Boba glances over towards Mace and reaches for his blaster instinctively, only to find that it's not in its holster. And...his helmet is off, too.

"What the kriff happened to me?"

"You were in a fight with Mace. He brought you here after you were knocked unconscious. I had to remove your helmet to check you were okay, and Mace has put your weapons safe."

He glances between the two of them.

"And like the bar, this is a no violence zone. Pull any stunts in here and you don't get treated."

Boba grunts. This is not particularly how he envisioned the fight ending...then again, that ending was definitely not in agreement with Mace's version of a desired ending if he had to guess.

"Very well. How badly am I hurt?"

Mace just waits, saying nothing. Not even annoyed at Guppy or Boba.

"You've broken a rib and suffered cuts and bruises elsewhere. And, since you were knocked out for quite a while I'd like to keep you in overnight for observation. How are you feeling?"

Boba mutters something under his breath.

"About like I was dragged through half the alleyways in Nar Shaddaa."

He glances over at Mace.

"Why didn't you kill me? The last thing I remember is you saying you would if I didn't surrender."

"The Jedi avoid killing if at all possible. And specially, a Jedi does not kill in blind rage or cold blood."

He shifts position a bit on his seat.

"There is no emotion; there is peace.

There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.

There is no passion; there is serenity.

There is no death; there is the Force."

Preaching? No, just stating the code he strives to follow.
