Melou has been asleep most of the time he's been in here so far, blinking awake every once in a while for a few sips of water before nodding off again fairly quickly.
Now, however, he seems to be actually awake. His chest still feels like there's about a hundred horses sitting on it and breathing is still painful, though it's not as laboured as before.
He could, he decides, really use a drink.

"Hey. How are you feeling?" She comes over to sit in the chair next to his bed, pushing her still-damp hair out of her eyes.

She's so glad he's awake.

She gets a feeling he's going to get really grouchy before that two weeks is up.

"I'll go insane."

And she really hopes he doesn't do anything stupid, like get out of bed before his wounds have had a chance to heal properly.

OK, yes, he would. And probably will.
"What am I supposed to do for all that time?"

"Oh, lie on your back and stare at the ceiling. It won't be very exiting, but I'll keep you company if you want. And we can watch the stars."
She presses a button on the remote, and an illusion of the night sky appears on the ceiling. Stars, moon, planets. It's rather a lovely effect.
"Not entirely exciting, I know. Just a nice effect. And...I'll figure other stuff out. I'll bet you'll be able to go on walks in a few days." Not long walks, of course. But changes in scenery is good.

And this occupant catches her eye. Instead of just sticking her head around the door, she peers at him, and then wanders over to look down at him thoughtfully.
"What happened to you?"
no subject
"I got shot." He gestures with his good arm to the two rather large bandages on his chest and shoulder. "Arrows."

She doesn't like him, but Angie does. And it's hard to actively dislike someone who's just been shot. It's those protective instincts that get her into trouble every time.

Pale blue was her best color and even Angela had to admit that she looked nice. She has a large ivory flower in her hair, and it smells nice. And her heels make her nearly as tall as Melou.
Quietly, she makes her way down to where his bed is, and peeks around the curtain.

He blinks at her and smiles.
"Hey, gorgeous."

"All right, I guess. Breathing doesn't hurt so much anymore. Missed you, though." He reaches out for her hand. "Have fun?"
no subject
"Is it okay if I sit here? Not hurting you, or anything?"
no subject
"Blue skin?"

He smiles at her again and looks her over. "You really wore that there?"
