The final checkup on Henry Wellard doesn't take very long; Simon's been in to check on his progress every day or so. Fairly shortly, Simon pronounces him released.

"...You're going to want to avoid any strenuous activity for the next week at least," he's saying, as Wellard buttons his shirt.

With care, still, for the bandages- and Wellard is seriously considering just carrying the vest and jacket to his room, without putting them on. He gives Simon a nod, looking up.

"And you'll want me back here on occassion, to check?"

Simon nods. "Let's say in a week's time. Or sooner if you have any unusual pain or swelling around the injury -- if I'm not available, speak to any of the doctors, don't wait for me."

Wellard nods. "I've seen them come and go in here." Then he smiles wryly.

"If I didn't come back, and something was wrong- there are quite a few others I would be in worse trouble with, to be sure. I will come."

A small, wry smile at that, and then Simon hands him a vial of white capsules.

"These are a milder dosage of the same painkillers I gave you earlier. Non-addictive. You can take up to four in a day."

He blinks, and nods slowly, looking over the bottle carefully. "Same thing, and up to four a day. Yes sir."

A little embarrassed: "There's no need to call me sir."

"...Ah." Wellard shrugs, with a sheepish smile.

"Its just what I'm used to. I know it doesn't quite apply the same way here, but... Still.
