Nita's claimed a table in the corner of the infirmary, and pulled the curtains around it.
After triple-checking to make sure she has the few tools she'll need, she sits down to review one last time while she waits.

He’s never been to the infirmary before and his mental map is drawing a total blank. So his steps are taken with care, one hand on the wall and the other held just a little in front of him.

"Nita?"
no subject
"Hey, Random."
no subject
'Hey.'
no subject
“And now the whole gang’s here. Peachy.”
Impatient? Him? Never.

And his tone is so sweet.
"Nita, this is Sands. Sands, Nita Calahan, wizard extraordinaire. Nita, I'm your battery tonight, I'm told."
no subject
She nods. "Thanks, Random. C'mon back, I'm all set up."
no subject
'Thought you were my battery,' as he passes. Only quietly though, then he says loudly to Sands,
'Have you chosen what colour you want them in? I told you pink would suit you, right?'
no subject
He turns to almost, but not quite, face Nita. “Can you just make them... the same?”
no subject
And he gets elbowed good naturedly in the side.
"Behave. How about it, Nita? I should have a small idea of what's gonna happen, at least."

There's a few chairs pulled up near the table, and she gestures towards them. "Have a seat and I'll lay things out."
--Of course, there's a slight problem here. She shoots a questioning glance between Random and Ramon, nodding towards Sands with a Can you lead him? look.

“Fucking ow,” he snaps, colliding with the table.
no subject
"What kind of power are you going to need, Nita? Don't hesitate to draw before wearing yourself down. I'm old, strong, and we aren't paying you that well."
no subject
She leans against the table.
"It's not a simple wizardry. I'm thinking it'll go like this -- Sands, I'll need a few drops of your blood, and a few drops of mine." She looks towards him and continues, "That's going to go right on your eyes. Once the wizardry has the matter it needs, I'll be rebuilding from the bottom up. Random, I'm thinking I'll need a boost halfway through -- if you've got a spell you'd like to use, go for it. Otherwise I'll need some information from you so I can plug you into the spell. And Sands, I'll definitely need some details from you so that the spell will work right."
no subject
'You didn't need all that with me,' he says, though he does know the circumstances and lever of healing were somewhat different. 'Is it going to take long? I'm hungry.'
no subject
Sands finds the chair and sits in it, scowling and rubbing his shin.
“What kind of details?” he asks the room at large.
no subject
He settles into his own chair.
"Just manipulation. But ask away."
no subject
Turning to Sands and Random, she asks them a few personal questions -- name, birthdate, and so forth, along with a few weird ones like "When was the last time you brushed your teeth?" -- until she has enough information to get the level of accuracy she needs.
no subject
'Jesus, that long?'
There's a long suffering sigh and he lounges in his chair, strangely reminiscent of a bored kid in a dentist's waiting room.
no subject
However, his voice is as calm and measured as ever when he speaks. “So what are we waiting for?”
no subject
"Drawing blood, apparently. I've a knife."
And no surprise, he offers one over to Nita. God knows where he got it.
no subject
"Sands, you want to sit up or lie down? Since it's going to take a while."
no subject
“I’m fine here.”
