Aeryn had never been injured significantly. Now, in her cooling suit, recovering from heat delirium and with her arm in a cast, she's beginning to discover just what happens when you're hurt. Boredom. Yes, boredom. So she's lying on the bed and wishing she wasn't drowning in pillows. Feel free to irritate her further.
[OOC: With much handwaving of happened in slowtime threadness.]

"You're looking better than yesterday."

But not move very well. Aeryn held out her hand to demonstrate, it was still very unsteady. She tried to sit up, only succeeding in flailing slightly, it was impossible to disguise the narrowing of her eyes.
"You are injured."

"It's not nearly as bad as anything you have to deal with." Pause. "We probably deserved it, though."

Frell. She's got a husband, what were you thinking of, dragging her off on some fool mission?

The worst of it really was the fight with Jag.

"Hey," He says, sitting down beside her bed and handing her a bunch of grapes. "Don't ask. Bar gave them to me as I passed." In his other hand, he's holding a rather thick Earth book with no title on it. If Aeryn looks carefully, she might see another book within that book, of a distinctly more modern looking sort.

"Atton..." And there's an odd feeling in the pit of her stomach. She doesn't want to talk to him about what happened, so she concentrates on the book.
"What's that?"

"Frell! Does there have to be quite so many pillows." She's still weak, but rather annoyed.

"Hey you." he gives her a smile. "Trying to give me extra work?"
no subject
"Sorry, shouldn't try and die on your time."
no subject
"Don't worry, just don't make a habit of it. How are you feeling? Can I get you pain relief or anything?"
no subject
"No it doesn't hurt, except..." Same old pain.
"The arm is very irritating and I don't have much strength."
no subject
He perches on the edge of the bed. "According to your notes and this very fetching outfit you've been suffering from heat delirium. That combined with the injury would be enough to make you feel a bit on the weak side today. Who patched you up last night?"
[ooc: Presumably the treatment is in the notes - what happened to her in the way of healing last night?]

So here she is, a brief knock and she slips in.
" Not dead, I see. "
The grin means she is really glad that Aeryn returned.

Bar kept giving her those zombie comics. Perhaps she thought Aeryn would appreciate the gore.

" Cooling suit will get you back to normal in no time. Bet you hate the laying about though, huh? "

"It's driving me insane. I have things to do." People to see.

" How much longer are you supposed to be in here? If you need I can get people, or things done for you."
