Every so often, Nita makes a point of coming down here to the Infirmary to check and see if there's anything for her to help out with. When there's not, as is usually the case, she practices the fine art of Puttering and familiarizes herself with some of the less magical methods of healing.
Which is to say, Nita inna Infirmary.

A young man, and a girl enter the infirmary. The young man was obviously bleeding from the back of the shin, and there was a small blood trail behind him. In fact he looked a little wobbly and glassy eyed from the blood loss.

"He is bleeding in his leg."

"Oh, crap -- c'mere, sit down--"
She hurries over and grabs a chair, dragging it closer to him so he doesn't have to walk too far.

"Doesn't really hurt anymore... And she got bit on the foot." He blinked a few times, trying to focus.

Back to Todd -- "Okay, can you pull up your pant leg? I'm Nita, by the way."

"That rabbit," she says, "must have had very sharp teeth."
no subject
"Yep, must have." She glances up at Todd. "Don't worry, it not gonna be hard to fix. What's your name, please?"

Healing comes first. She can clarify in a minute.
"Okay, hold still. This shouldn't take too long."
It's a small enough wound that it won't require any blood from her; she simply covers it with her hand, closes her eyes, and starts speaking. Her own little world goes silent as the Universe listens to her, speeding muscle and skin cells on their way to recovery.
A few minutes later, she removes her hand and sits back. Rubbing the sympathetic pain in her own shin, she surveys the pink patch of new skin.
"How's it feel?"
no subject
"Feels a lot better, thanks." He gave a small smile at that.
He added to Mary, "Thanks again, and sorry about earlier."

"Why are you apologizing to me? You were the one who was bitten - I only got bite-marks in my boot."

It's possible someone should wake the boy up and chase him out again. Or just give him someone to talk to.

Once that's done, though, she figures she might as well check on him, and heads over.
Touching him on the shoulder, she says quietly, "Sir?"

He only has eyes for the girl in the bed.

He doesn't seem especially eager to leave. But he asks anyway, "If I am in the way of the nurses, lady, I shall go..."

Faramir is bowing to her. This counts as Very Cool in her book.
"Um, nice to meet you. Just Nita's fine."

She hangs back, watching him and her. "What happened to her?"
She has her suspicions, but.

She wipes it off quickly. After all, she knows how the story ends, but he has to watch the woman he loves in this state.
"She'll make it," Nita murmurs. "She's one hell of a fighter."
no subject
"I know. I think there is no enemy she could not match, no battle she would not come out the victor. I saw her win this once. I shall see her do so again."
He's Determined. And there is no turning back a Determined Faramir.

"It's good she's got someone to stay with her." Her smile goes a little wry, a little distant. "Even fighters need a support group sometimes.
"How long has she been like this?"

"What about you? Are you taking care of yourself?"

"That's not really an answer. When'd you last eat? Like, a real meal."
As long as she's in here, she may as well pull rank, such as it is, and take care of people.
