Guppy comes into the infirmary from the office, spots the curtain and goes over to it. Picking up the notes next to him, he crouches down in front of the infirmary's newest inhabitant, lying on a pile of blankets on the floor.

"Water would be good, thank you comrade."
He hesitates for a moment.
"Please could you tell Comrade Amanda that I'm okay? She was worried."

"Sure, no problem." He gets water for Snowball then goes off in search of Amanda.

He drinks some of the water.
"Sorry for scaring you."

"You will do, for a few days. According to your notes you lost quite a lot of blood."

"Here have a cucumber." she hands him the cucumber, choosing that one first because she figures it's his favorite.
Turning to Guppy to make sure he is eating his sandwich. The other one was forher but she wants to make sure the guys are eating first. The sandwiches are Roast beef.

He eats the sandwich.

"Thank you comrade. How are things out there? Is Marigold here?"

At this point Amanda starts eating her own sandwich.

"I wonder why Squealer didn't want anyone to know I was dead. I'd have thought he would have revelled in the glory of having killed me, but he missed his chance because he insisted on moving me further away from the main farm."

"She said she still loves me. But then when we snuut she was just distracting me. That means she's being forced to do things against her will. She's in trouble, and I should go back for her."
He tries to get to his feet but is pushed gently back down again by Guppy.

"You know we will do everything we can to help you and her but at the moment you must rest. Please."

"I'll leave you guys to it." he says gently, putting a hand on Amanda's shoulder.
