Bonnie is recuperating in the infirmary after a bad reaction to the flu.

Well, that's what she's supposed to be doing. Right now, she's sat on the edge of the bed helping the infirmary waitrats fix the voice activated tech that Guppy has been trying to install for the last four weeks.

Autor is in the infirmary, having bolted here ever since he heard the fearsome roar. He knows people will be injured, and hopes no one will be killed. He paces the length of the infirmary, trying to calm his racing heart.

He glimpsed the creature, so knows that most injuries will involve burns. He has the kolto patches ready.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter walks into the infirmary, unlocks the medicine cabinet, gets out a bag of common or garden saline solution, and turns to go again, when he stops and stares.

There, asleep in a medical bed, the readings quietly pinging away, is a scruffy and battered version of himself. The man has grey stubble on his face, his hair is too long and lanky and definitely greyer than Hannibal's own, and he snores gracelessly.

Dr. Lecter steps closer and reads the display. Whatever he learns there seems to gives him pleasure, as for one moment, there is a very satisfied smile on his face. Then, he slips out with his saline solution.

When other, less quiet and circumspect visitors, arrive in the infirmary, Galen will crack open his eyes and rasp out a hello. His ribs and lungs still rather hurt, and he'd hate to imagine how badly they would hurt without painkillers. But he's awake, and alive, for a given value of alive.-

Sam has set Dodger up with a fresh pitcher of water, a box of saltine crackers, a few bedpans, and a bed near the bathroom.

"I'm going to give you some space now, but I'll just be right over there reading if you need anything, okay?" he says, pointing to the computer terminal where plans to read up and make sure he's done all he can for her bout of food poisoning. "Rest up and get better."

Her hair -- shorn now to her shoulders -- is pinned up, and she wears a yellow-fringed shawl on her shoulders.

" -- for headache," she mutters to herself, writing down dosage instructions in neat, even letters. "One cup at need, no longer than a week."

Joly looks up from his desk when the door opens, and smiles when he sees Harry-and keeps smiling when he sees Hal. It just shifts into a more professional smile, not a cold one, but the smile of a man who suddenly has real work to do, instead of a fairly social visit with a friend.

" Hal! it's good you found your way back here. Here, have a seat--" he indicates one of the exam tables "--has it been long since you were here? Where did you come in from?" This is no small talk; Joly needs to know what's been going on.

Joly is immersed in a repair manual for one of the infirmary's cellular scanners, marveling at the practical application of the abstract concepts it relies on-- and otherwise totally unoccupied. The Infirmary isn't always the busiest place.

So it's good to see a visitor! Especially one moving under his own power. Joly smiles and moves towards the doorway.

It's the nature of work in the Infirmary; either the days are really quiet... or they're really, really not.

And now suddenly it's really not.

Joly's moving to bring out one of the tables for super-powered patrons as soon as the visitors walk in. "Hello, have a seat-- there-- if you can." If he's startled, he doesn't sound like it. He reaches out to help the apparent patient over to the examining table.

It's usually a quiet job, working in the infirmary-- which is fine by Joly, given what it can mean when a doctor's busy.

But a little post-brawl patchup, well, that's no great sign of catastrophe. He smiles cheerfully enough at the two men who limp into the infirmary. "Harry! I'm glad you've come in. And-- excuse me, I don't think we've met. I'm Joly. If you would both have a seat--?" He gestures to two separate examining tables.
